Classify harvested cotton by fiber length, strength and purity to select raw materials for different cotton fabrics, like choosing long - staple cotton for high - end cloth.

Opening & Cleaning

Use opening machines to break compressed cotton bales into loose cotton fibers, while removing seeds, leaves and other impurities to ensure fabric cleanliness.

Drawing & Blending

Merge 6 - 8 cotton slivers, stretch them evenly and blend fibers to make sliver thickness consistent, laying a foundation for uniform fabric texture.

Roving Spinning

Draw the blended cotton sliver to reduce its thickness, then add a small amount of twist to form "roving yarn", which is easier to handle in the next spinning step.
